Dr. Hendrikus Passagi

Hendrikus has a distinguished career in financial technology. His expertise in this field can be seen from his tenure as Director of Financial Technology Licensing and Supervision at the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan “OJK”) between 2017 and 2020. Hendrikus has conducted several academic studies and made recommendations regarding the regulation of the Government Bond Futures market and the Asset-Backed Securities market. In addition, he promoted the use of digital signatures, facilitated the use of insurance technology, has built a Fintech Data Center (“FDC”), and implemented mandatory professional certification for fintech operators and ISO-27001 compliance. His broad educational background accounts for his dynamic career experience. Hendrikus has a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois as well as a Doctorate degree in Finance from the University of Indonesia. Until now, his thirst for lifelong learning has been proven when he is currently continuing his law education at Pelita Harapan University.
